St. Barnabas Charities a Local non-profit is seeking a sharp, motivated and creative individual to assist with the planning of five major annual fundraising events in addition to capital campaigns and non-traditional programs. Extremely organized and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills and familiarity with fundraising and event planning.
Proven work experience in event planning or similar role!
Experience in a fundraising
Creativity and persuasion skills
Great organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and project oversight skills
Mobile bidding platform experience, GiveSmart or similar

- Organizing fundraising events and working with vendors and volunteers
- Oversee administrative tasks involved with all facets of event planning
- Assist the event coordinators with sponsor proposals and presenting to potential sponsors
- Creating marketing and promotional activities including social media
- Solicit in-kind donations
- Donor communication
Proven work experience in event planning or similar role!

Job Requirements
- High energy, go-getter that can work in a fast-paced fundraising environment
- Must be detailed-oriented and experience with special events
- Excellent computer (Excel and database mining)
- Will need to have good people skills, writing and communication skills is necessary
- Ability to work within a CRM like Raiser’s Edge
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer and other office machinery such as copier, printer, file cabinets, occasionally lifts boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
