Position Details
- Location: Multiple sites including Arbors Valencia and Arbors Gibsonia (Travel between locations is required)
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Status: Full-Time or Part Time
- Pay Rate: $23 per hour
Weekdays
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM: $2.50/hour
- 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM: $3.00/hour
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM: $0.50/hour
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM: $3.00/hour
- 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM: $3.50/hour
- Make regular rounds on residents, checking for their location, safety, and well-being.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), encouraging maximum independence.
- Deliver mail and newspapers to residents.
- Set dining room tables for meals as needed.
- Serve meals/snacks and deliver meal trays to resident rooms.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties (e.g., trash removal, cleaning, and bed-making).
- Manage laundry: collect, wash, dry, fold, and return resident laundry and linens.
- Encourage and assist resident participation in activities and recreational programs.
- Escort residents to and from recreational programs and assist during events.
- Accurately document resident care and services provided.
- Assist with monitoring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Address and report customer service issues, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Attend and complete required in-service education and staff meetings.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must be available and willing to work at any clinical building requiring staff coverage.
- Demonstrate professionalism and reliability in fulfilling scheduled shifts.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours per shift.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and carry at least 25 lbs.
- Requires hand grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation.
- Requires the ability to kneel, squat, twist, bend at the waist, and reach.
- Must be able to push residents in wheelchairs and move laundry carts.
