Key Responsibilities

Technical Instruction: Teach foundational cheer mechanics, including proper motion technique, jumps, basic tumbling, and vocal projection.

Safety & Stunting Progression: Supervise and instruct all stunting activities using strict, age-appropriate progressions and safety protocols in compliance with state athletic association guidelines.

Game Day & Crowd Leadership: Prepare the squad to cheer at junior high athletic events (e.g., football, basketball), focusing on crowd engagement, sportsmanship, and school pride.

Choreography & Practice Planning: Organize disciplined practices and choreograph crowd cheers, sidelines, and short routines suitable for the junior high level.

Program Alignment: Work collaboratively with the High School Head Cheer Coach to align terminology, safety standards, and skill expectations for a smooth transition to the high school program.
