An Invitation to Help Write a New Chapter
Rediscovering Our Soul
St. Anne Catholic School has served the families of York County for nearly 75 years. For three-quarters of a century, we have baptized imaginations, formed consciences, and sent young people into the world rooted in faith, curious about creation, and prepared to lead. That is a legacy worth fighting for — and right now, we are fighting for it with everything we have.
In November 2026, St. Anne launched its Season of Renewal: a comprehensive effort to revitalize our school around four pillars — Catholic Identity & Faith Formation, Academic Excellence, Operational Vitality, and Governance & Leadership. We are actively enrolling families, renovating learning spaces, strengthening programs, and calling educators who believe that a school can be both academically excellent and deeply, authentically Catholic.
We are not looking for teachers who want a quiet assignment. We are looking for educators who want to matter — who want to be present at the beginning of something, who feel the weight and the joy of mission-driven work, and who are ready to bring their whole selves to the classroom and to the community.
Who We Are
St. Anne is a Pre-K through Grade 7 Catholic school in the rapidly growing Fort Mill and Indian Land corridor of York County, South Carolina — one of the fastest-growing communities in the Southeast. We serve families across Fort Mill, Indian Land, and Lake Wylie within the Diocese of Charleston.
Our academic identity is built on a simple but powerful conviction: that tradition and innovation belong together. We call it “cursive meets coding.” Our students learn to write in cursive and to think in code. They encounter the great books and the latest technologies. They learn to sit with silence and to collaborate across disciplines. Faith formation is not a class period — it is the atmosphere of everything we do.
- Faith formation woven into every subject and every day
- “Cursive meets coding” — tradition and innovation side by side
- Pope Sylvester STEM & Sacred Spaces Program: chemistry lab, TEAL lab, outdoor garden
- John Paul the Great Program for the Arts
- A small school where every teacher is known and every student matters
- A growing community with real momentum and genuine mission
- A practicing or deeply sympathetic Catholic faith — lived, not just stated
- A belief that academic excellence and spiritual formation are inseparable
- A collaborative spirit and a servant’s heart
- The willingness to be a presence, not just an instructor
- Patience with a school in transformation — and excitement about what comes next
