We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Supervisor to assist in leading clinical operations within our Assisted Living community. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about resident-centered care, team development, and clinical excellence.

Position Summary

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and delivering exceptional care to residents. Working closely with the Nurse Manager, Director of Resident Life, physicians, and interdisciplinary partners, the Nurse Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Operations

  • Coordinate and oversee nursing services within Assisted Living.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Participate in resident assessments, care planning, admissions, and discharges.
  • Monitor resident health status and communicate changes to physicians and care teams.
  • Manage medication administration processes and investigate medication errors.
  • Track laboratory results and follow-up care.

Leadership & Staff Development

  • Supervise nursing staff, Resident Aides, and Medication Technicians.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
  • Support staff education, training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct clinical audits and monitor quality indicators.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Communication & Resident Relations

  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care.
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and external partners.

Qualifications Required

  • Current, active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory nursing experience in a hospital, long-term care, assisted living, or related healthcare setting.
  • Minimum 2 years of long-term care experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare documentation systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to move throughout the facility during the workday.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and assist with resident evacuations when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
