St. Andrew's Family Fitness Plus, a subdivision of St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for a Mermaid Camp Counselor. St. Andrew's Parks and Playground Summer Camps are a magical place where imagination comes to life! Our Wonder-Water Mermaid (& Merman) Camp offers children ages 8 - 14 a whimsical, water-based experience combining fantasy, fitness, and fun.
We're looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Mermaid Camp Counselors, bringing the wonder of mermaid life to young campers. Not only will you teach them to swim in their tails, you will also foster conversation about ocean conservation and environmentalism around St. Andrew's Family Fitness and at the South Carolina Aquarium.
Wonder-Water Mermaid Camp will be held for four weeks this summer, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am - 12:00pm for the following dates: June 8 - 12, June 22 - 26, July 6 - 10, and July 20 - 24, 2026. Mermaid Camp Counselors would be expected to work from 8:30 - 12:30, to help with set-up and clean-up.

Reports To: Aquatics Safety Coordinator
Salary/Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Benefits: Full family membership to the fitness center; Medical Care Membership available with low ($70) monthly premiums.
