We are currently seeking L.P.N.'s for Per Diem hours! We understand the need for work-life balance and support our staff with flexible hours and various shifts, including:

YOUR ROLE: CLINICAL LEADERSHIP & COMPASSIONATE CARE
As an L.P.N. Staff Nurse at St. André, you are a crucial leader on the unit, providing direct nursing care and serving as the operational supervisor for your shift.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Direct Nursing Care: Perform treatments, administer medications, and provide care as needed.
- Team Supervision: Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Med Tech and C.N.A. staff, monitoring their performance and providing guidance.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all work adheres to current Federal, State, and local standards and guidelines to maintain the highest degree of quality care.
- Care Planning: Implement and oversee resident care plans, ensuring all staff are informed and follow through on the total regime of care.
- Resident Advocacy: Make daily resident visits, consult with physicians, and inform families of changes in a resident’s condition.
- Administrative Duties: Complete necessary medical forms, reports, charting, and ensure all medical records are up to date and in compliance.
- Staff Development: Assist in training inexperienced staff and inform all personnel of proper infection control procedures.
- Culture of Warmth: Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis throughout the unit.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensure: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
- Certification: Must maintain CPR certification.
- Communication: Must be able to write the English language in a legible and understandable manner and deal tactfully with all personnel and the public.
