Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and execution of campus events and programs
- Manage scheduling and use of campus event spaces
- Supervise, schedule, and train student employees
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external event clients
- Coordinate logistics with campus partners (Public Safety, Facilities, IT, Catering, Communications & Marketing)
- Manage event contracts, pricing decisions, and vendor relationships
- Lead use of the Events Management System (EMS) and reporting tools
- Support budgeting, revenue tracking, and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with university policies and FERPA requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2 years of experience in higher education, event services, or student engagement
- Experience planning or coordinating events
- Familiarity with event technology or audio-visual systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
