Mount Mercy University seeks an Academic Support Coordinator of Access & Disability Services (ADS) and Academic Coaching & Enrichment (ACE). This is a full-time, 10.5-month position on the Mount Mercy campus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Academic Support Coordinator works directly with students, faculty and staff and plays a significant role in supporting Access & Disability Services and Academic Coaching Enrichment in ACE. Occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required.

Key Responsibilities
- Provides in-person, direct support to faculty, students, and administrative staff with consistent and dependable attendance during scheduled work hours.
- Provide general office functional support to A&DS and ACE staff including but not limited to data entry, filing, processing supply orders and managing invoices.
- Confidentially manage detailed testing schedules and exam procedures as well as the collection, organization and tracking of testing materials and data.
- Coordinate alternative testing processes and procedures.
- Assist with the check-out, setup, and training of assistive technology available to students registered with A&DS.
- Provide support for the Peer Educator program assisting with scheduling, time-clock processes, and other tasks as requested by ACE staff.
- Assist with campus communication for A&DS and ACE sponsored events and schedules.
- High School diploma
- At least 3 years of experience in disability services or in higher education, counseling, special education, psychology, or related field.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel as well as able to effectively use other office productivity software including but not limited to, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with FERPA, ADAA and institutional policies.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in higher education or a complex organizational environment.
