At St. Ambrose University Children's Campus, we believe that the early years are crucial for laying the foundation of a child's lifelong love of learning. Our program is designed to spark imagination, promote social-emotional development, and foster a sense of wonder in every child.
Responsibilities: Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for 2-year-olds. Create warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Support children in developing important skills such as communication, fine and gross motor skills, and independence Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Requirements: A two-year Associate Degree in Child Development or related field or a Child Development Associate. Must have ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families. Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Have the ability to work collaboratively n a team environment.
