This individual hired for this position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the Master of Social Work Program. The faculty member holding this position will:
The position requires an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a doctorate in social work or related field. Applications from ABDs will be considered. A minimum of two years of post-MSW experience is required, and evidence of effective teaching is essential. Salary will be commensurate with experience. People from under-represented populations are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to applicants showing a strong history of teaching and practice experience with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

- Teach research methods courses, as well as other courses across the social work curriculum
- Teach in a variety of course delivery systems, i.e., in-person, online synchronous and asynchronous, and hybrid.
- Serve as a Practicum Liaison for social work students
- Be an active advisor to students
- Participate and provide leadership on university committees
- Engage in scholarly activity
