Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior and report findings accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
- Uphold resident rights while providing care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic medical knowledge is beneficial.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines for clients.
- Strong observational skills to recognize changes in client health or behavior.
