Capital Markets Software Developer
Introduction:
This is a Software developer, technical support role to support the MCM. The focus will be on the integration between the BNS upstream and downstream systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about MCM and commercial real estate finance.
Responsibilities:
- Software development
- Support production issues
- Support deployment
- Building back-end systems
- UI development
- Working with messaging and monitoring
- Working closely with IT senior manager and other developers
- Interaction with business team to gather requirements
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations
- 4 years of experience with data technologies and databases
- 5 years of experience with UNIX shell scripting in Linux environments
- 2 years of Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React, and JavaScript
- 3 years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins
- 3 years experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience writing, reading, and executing SQL scripts
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as CRON, Tidal, or Airflow
- Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
