What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Recruiter - Remote position at SSP America?
The Field Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruiting process for all airport-level restaurant and operations roles within a geographical region. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment, employment marketing, phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews with hiring managers, compliance with all applicable laws and company policies, and reporting. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of People Development.
The Field Recruiter will work remotely and should be located near a major airport.
Essential Functions
- Partner with operations and human resources to determine staffing level and needs for restaurant and above restaurant roles for airports within region
- Post open jobs on Applicant Tracking System
- Source applicants and build talent pipelines by utilizing various methods (i.e., networking, referrals, online searches, Internet postings, job/career fairs, local colleges, hospitality group, etc.)
- Screen applications and/or resumes for open roles and schedule interviews with operations leaders
- Conduct interviews and qualify applicants for interest level, salary expectations, availability, and core competencies against role qualifications
- Setup, advertise and attend (as needed) in-person job fairs at airport locations
- Generate sourcing, employment marketing effectiveness and hiring reports as needed
- Other duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor
