RN, Cardiac Med Surg 6 South, Full Time, Nights

Job Summary

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work on the 6 South Cardiac Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for providing patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitors patient's condition and reports any changes or concerns to the physician or charge nurse.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital is located.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk between units.

Salary : $72,000 - $96,000
