Physical Therapist - Part Time - Float
St. Charles, MO
This part-time PT float position will be based out of the St. Charles Day Institute and cover 5 Day Institute locations - Warrenton, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles, Chesterfield and Bridgeton. This will ideally be a 3 day/24 hour work week.
SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have ten centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. We take a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to build skills and maximize independence. Responsibilities
- Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient's need and physician direction
- Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients
- Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities
- Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self
- Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required.
- CPR certification
