Therapist to You is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our
growing pediatric/Adult therapy team in Lakeland, Florida.
Therapist to You provides multidisciplinary services including Physical Therapy, Occupational
Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We are looking for a
Physical Therapist who enjoys working with children and families in a collaborative and
supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct pediatric physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop individualized plans of care based on each client's needs.
Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
Address gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, gait, mobility,
positioning, and functional movement.
Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor progress.
Complete evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and other required
documentation.
Educate parents and caregivers on home activities and strategies.
Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, RBTs, physicians, families, and other members of
the client's care team.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning when appropriate.
Maintain professional, ethical, clinical, and payer documentation standards.
Create a positive and encouraging therapy experience for children and their families.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Florida licensure.
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Pediatric experience preferred, but we welcome qualified candidates who have a strong
interest in pediatric therapy.
