Job Title: Senior Cobol Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team supporting mission-critical banking application initiatives. Our group is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing optimization of mainframe applications and provides high-level support for key banking processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement COBOL-based applications on mainframe platforms.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Provide production support, including after-hours on-call responsibilities as experience is gained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with IBM z/OS, AIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, Easytrieve, Endevor, CA7, Control M, BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline, and Flex.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week at one of the approved hub locations.
