Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims from patients, physicians, and pharmacies, providing access to care and reimbursement support.
- Deliver program information, eligibility details, and general assurances to facilitate ease of program use and encourage medication adherence.
- Refer requests for escalation to appropriate internal teams, collaborating with Program Management, IT, and Patient Support groups as needed.
- Perform additional assignments as required to ensure patients receive exceptional service throughout the process.
- High school diploma or GED completion.
- At least 1 year of healthcare or case management experience in a high-volume contact center environment or similar setting preferred.
- Strong customer empathy, emotional intelligence, and effective communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, medical billing, and call center software (such as Five9, In-Contact, or similar) is preferred.
