Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing efforts across IT spend portfolios and drive measurable value through disciplined category management. This position plays a key role in supplier strategy, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment to support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and portfolio roadmaps for IT spend categories, including demand shaping and market analysis.
- Manage supplier relationships through selection, negotiation, vendor management rituals, QBRs, and joint improvement initiatives.
- Lead cost analysis, TCO and should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and year-over-year savings and value realization efforts.
- Support end-to-end RFx events, negotiations, contracting, governance, compliance, and performance tracking across the portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or category management with portfolio responsibility across indirect and/or direct materials.
- Demonstrated expertise in RFx management, complex contract negotiation, TCO analysis, and supplier performance management.
- Proficiency with eSourcing, contract lifecycle, and P2P platforms, along with strong Excel and analytics skills and financial acumen.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change leadership skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Risk management mindset with experience implementing mitigation strategies across a supply base; experience supporting IT categories is a plus, and professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, or PMP are a plus.
