Our team is looking for a candidate who can help define requirements, perform analysis, support testing, and contribute to certification activities that are critical to safe and compliant aircraft operations.
Responsibilities
- Decompose airplane-level requirements into system and component-level requirements, and help resolve requirement conflicts.
- Support system and component certification efforts, including safety analysis, failure analysis, traceability, and resolution of regulation conflicts.
- Perform and document analysis and design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems to validate or assess system designs and models.
- Participate in validation, testing, test monitoring, report authoring, supplier report review, failure analysis, and issue mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 5-7 years of technical experience working with flight controls.
- Experience with system safety analysis, including failure modes and effects analysis, fault tree analysis, common cause analysis, and single and multiple failure analysis.
- Knowledge of ARP 4754 and ARP 4761, along with experience in requirements development, design, analysis, and verification & validation of flight control systems.
