Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support throughout commissioning, startup, and turnover phases for power generation and energy systems.
- Lead and support commissioning activities including testing, verification, and troubleshooting of switchgear, transformers, generators, and associated systems.
- Validate power system studies and ensure compliance with standards prior to energization, including short circuit analysis, coordination, and arc flash assessments.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to ensure system readiness and resolve issues during commissioning and startup.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or commissioning in power generation, industrial, or related industries.
- Working knowledge of electrical power systems and equipment, including switchgear, transformers, generators, and associated drawings and control systems.
- Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup processes in power generation or industrial settings.
