Job Title: Desktop Support Analyst
Location: Marshalltown, IA
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions for hardware and software issues on workstations.
- Assist in installing and supporting new and upgraded workstation hardware and software.
- Recommend and document new hardware and software solutions to enhance user experience.
- Suggest and assist in creating policies to improve customer experience.
- Maintain software inventory, manage licensing, and establish upgrade procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery and installation of new equipment.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in installing and supporting PC and laptop hardware and software.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Professional certifications like HDI, CompTIA, or Microsoft are a plus.
- Ability to create user accounts and manage access control.
