Business Systems Analyst

MUST Have Skills

• 5 experience working as a Business Analyst OR Business Systems Analyst
• Able to work on W2
• Local to either Dallas TX or Pittsburgh PA and able to work hybrid schedule
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience translating business requirements to technical/functional requirements.
• Preferred experience working in Banking
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and needs.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements.
• Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Document business requirements in a clear and structured format.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by helping to create test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Maintain documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
• Assist project managers in tracking tasks and milestones to ensure alignment with timelines.
• Monitor completion of deliverables and escalate risks or issues, as needed.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates and insights.
• Compile and deliver regular reports on project status, risks, and issues.
