SSG Hotels is looking for a full-time experienced Corporate Financial Controller to coordinate the accounting practice for the firm.
SSG Hotels is a growing, multi-property hotel and conference center operator. We’re hiring a hands-on Corporate Controller to own the accounting function end-to-end—from daily hotel activity and payroll through monthly close, consolidations, and lender/franchise reporting. The ideal leader is fluent in QuickBooks Desktop and cloud-based accounting platforms, comfortable integrating data from hotel PMS/POS systems, and experienced with Paycor and traditional payroll/accounting workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Quickbooks Pro/Online
- Manage the financial and administrative activities of the Company
- Ensure internal controls over all financial matters
- Complete Daily, Monthly, and Annual Reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Prepare annual budget
- Review and analyze profitability and expenses
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports outlining metrics including ADR, OCC, RevPar, and production statistics
- Prepare and analyze monthly and yearly sales reporting
- Ensure the integrity of the financial ERP system
- Manage the Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
- Complete Payroll functions utilizing Quickbooks or another preferred payroll software
