Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Extrusion Operative - Fixed Term to join our dynamic
team.
Key Responsibilities:
We’re looking for 2 motivated individuals to join our Tubing Manufacturing Team on a 6month fixed-term contract. This is your chance to contribute to the production of high-quality silicone tubing used in biopharma, medical, water treatment, food, and specialist processing industries.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be working in a cleanroom environment, supporting the extrusion process and ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting extrusion line setters to produce tubing in various sizes and specifications.
- Following strict hygiene and PPE protocols to maintain product integrity.
- Transferring raw materials and consumables into cleanrooms as per SOPs.
- Using tools and aids to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records for full traceability.
- Collaborating with the Production Planner to meet customer delivery timelines.
- Supporting continuous improvement, 5S activities, and process validation.
- Participating in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Carrying out additional tasks associated with tubing extrusion and cleanroom production.
Who You’ll Be Working With
You’ll be part of a collaborative team of extrusion operators, led by an experienced Team Leader. We provide high-level training to ensure you’re confident and capable in all cleanroom procedures and equipment handling
Skills/Experience:
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Team-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-focused, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Desirable Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a cleanroom or medical device manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles.
- Understanding of tubing extrusion or similar production processes.
