Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to support precise execution of tasks
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure smooth surfaces and structural integrity
- Install rebar, framing, formwork, masonry elements, and perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry and framing
- Conduct heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure team well-being
- Support specialized tasks such as stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, caulking, masonry work, restoration projects, and concrete cutting
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a construction workplace environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to construction activities
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications accurately
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and related techniques
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to heavy equipment operation and general construction sites
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces confidently

Pay: $25.03 - $30.15 per hour
