SS Service Corp is a growing HVAC-R contractor committed to delivering “Reliability in Every Degree.” We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Dispatch Coordinator to support our Commercial Service Department. This role is critical in ensuring efficient scheduling, technician productivity, and exceptional customer service.
Position SummaryThe Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for managing daily service schedules, coordinating technicians, and acting as the central communication point between customers, field staff, and internal teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and dispatch HVAC-R service technicians for commercial service calls and maintenance
- Prioritize emergency and high-priority service requests
- Monitor technician routes, progress, and job completion in real time
- Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, updates, and service confirmations
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Service Managers to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records in dispatching software (e.g., Corrigo Pro or similar)
- Review work orders for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with billing coordination and job close-out documentation
- Support planned maintenance scheduling and contract fulfillment
- 2 years of dispatching experience (HVAC, construction, or service industry preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dispatching or field service software (Corrigo Pro experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus, but not required
