Job Description Manager, CLO Loan Operations – Loan Servicing Locations: Boston, MA | NYC | Hybrid About the Role As a Manager of CLO Loan Operations, you will lead a team responsible for the accurate servicing of syndicated bank loans within CLO structures. You will act as a primary client contact, manage daily operations, and ensure deliverables are met with precision and timeliness. How You Will Make an Impact Manage and oversee a team of associates and senior associates in daily loan servicing operations Serve as the primary client relationship manager for CLO loan servicing, responding to inquiries and delivering high-quality service Oversee loan trade processing, settlement, cash flow booking, reconciliations, and agent notice review Ensure all loan static data setup, reconciliations (cash, cost, positions, accrued interest), and reporting are completed accurately and on time Review and sign off on escalated breaks, ensuring resolution within agreed timelines Lead client onboarding, system setup, and process implementation for new CLO portfolios Conduct performance reviews, coach, and mentor team members to foster professional development Partner with internal stakeholders across fund accounting, technology, and operations to streamline processes and resolve issues Develop and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Maintain strong governance and controls, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and client SLAs Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 6 years of experience in syndicated bank loan operations, with direct CLO servicing experience Prior experience managing a team within loan servicing or operations required Strong understanding of loan settlements, reconciliations, and reporting for complex loan portfolios Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related financial systems Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at senior levels What Sets You Apart Familiarity with Advent Geneva and syndicated loan servicing platforms a strong plus Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to balance client demands, operational timelines, and team management in a fast-paced environment Join SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities. Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 80,000 USD to 150,000 USD. Other States expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 150000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 160000 USD. In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
