What You Will Get to Do: Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Oversee daily operational activities across designated departments, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and service level agreements. Develop, implement, and monitor operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency, quality, and productivity. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs. Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal control frameworks. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including technology, client services, and product development, to resolve issues and drive initiatives. Manage client relationships and expectations, addressing inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed. Prepare and present operational reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and recommendations. Participate in the development and execution of strategic operational plans and objectives. Oversee training and development programs for operations staff to ensure a high level of expertise and service quality. What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial services operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role. Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating diverse teams to achieve operational excellence. Strong understanding of financial services products, industry regulations, and operational best practices. Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in using operational management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with SS&C products and platforms is a plus. Thank you for your interest in SS&C! NY: Salary range for the position: 100,000 USD to 190,000 USD.
