Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, and inspection of a wide range of structural systems, including commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform structural analysis and design of building systems including foundations, frames, slabs, and facades
• Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for new construction and repair projects
• Conduct field investigations, condition assessments, and inspections of existing structures
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and contractor submittals
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and zoning regulations
• Assist with preparation of proposals, project schedules, and budgets
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits as required
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
• Professional Engineer (PE) license not required but is a plus
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; additional structural software experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation
• Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience
