Highland Homes is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with strong Data Engineering and MLOps expertise to help build and scale a modern enterprise ML and Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing ML-ready data architectures, implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and developing scalable machine learning solutions using Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience in Data & Analytics
- 5 years of hands-on Machine Learning Engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Databricks Workflows
- Experience building and maintaining ML pipelines, feature stores, and production-grade data assets
- Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Advanced Python and SQL skills
- Experience with ETL/ELT development and data engineering best practices
- Strong knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and governance
- Experience developing semantic models, analytics solutions, and Power BI dashboards
- Proven leadership experience mentoring teams and establishing engineering standards
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end machine learning and data engineering solutions
- Build and optimize bronze, silver, and gold data pipelines
- Develop ML-ready datasets and enterprise feature stores
- Implement scalable ML workflows, model deployment, and monitoring processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and engineering teams
- Establish coding standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
- Support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and enterprise AI initiatives
- Ensure data quality, lineage, security, and performance across the platform
