Role: Cisco Network Engineer

Location: Lincoln, NE (Onsite)

Key Responsibilitie

• sDesign, install, configure, and maintain enterprise core network infrastructure
• .Support Cisco ASR 1000/9000 routers, Cisco Nexus switches, and Cisco DWDM technologies
• .Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance, routing, and connectivity issues
• .Plan and execute network upgrades, hardware installations, migrations, and decommissioning activities
• .Implement and support disaster recovery strategies for network infrastructure
• .Monitor network health and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability
• .Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and network diagrams
• .Coordinate multiple network projects across enterprise environments
• .Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the networking team
• .Participate in scheduled maintenance activities and provide after-hours support when required

.Required Qualification

• sStrong experience supporting enterprise Cisco network infrastructure
• .Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR 1000 and ASR 9000 Series routers
• .Experience with Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco DWDM technologies
• .Strong understanding of Core Routing, WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and enterprise networking
• .Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex network environments
• .Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
• .Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• .Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• .CCNP Certification (Required)
