About the Role
The Commercial Loan Payments AI team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer DevOps IV to design, build, and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS. This role combines strong infrastructure-as-code expertise with solid software engineering practices to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate AWS infrastructure provisioning.
- Drive the full application development lifecycle: design, coding, debugging, and deployment.
- Perform software and system analysis, including code reviews, risk assessments, and performance tuning.
- Apply object-oriented design and analysis (OOA/OOD) principles in solution design.
- Support testing, quality assurance, and ongoing software maintenance.
- Integrate new solutions with existing systems and document functionality.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new tools or technologies to improve delivery and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Strong background in software engineering and application development.
- Senior to Expert-level proficiency in Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, or Ruby).
- Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience in building, integrating, and automating cloud-native applications.
