Innovation Policy Research Intern

SRI’s Center for Innovation Strategy and Policy (CISP) is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate student intern to support a diverse array of projects supporting the Center’s technology-based economic development portfolio. This work is highly critical, as CISP helps foster the economic and ecosystem conditions for technology and innovation to translate into growth and prosperity for communities across the world.

The intern will work a hybrid schedule between home and our Arlington, VA office

Responsibilities

• Perform research tasks, data analysis, writing, and other duties in coordination with the project leader
  
  

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate students who have background in public policy and administration, economics, and science and technology should apply.
• Students who are at least rising juniors are highly encouraged to apply.
  
  

The salary range is: $17-$23/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
