Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chagrin Falls, OH. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance request process from start to finish, ensuring repair and maintenance issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving and prioritizing maintenance requests, dispatching and coordinating third-party contractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring repairs are completed to company standards.
The Maintenance Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners regarding maintenance matters, providing timely updates on the status of work orders, scheduling repairs, and ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in property maintenance coordination, property management, facilities management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of residential maintenance and repair processes
- Experience coordinating and managing third-party contractors and vendors
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, property owners, and vendors
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests
- Ability to track work orders, monitor repair progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with property management software, work order systems, and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Knowledge of local property maintenance regulations and housing codes is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional property management, facilities management, or maintenance-related certifications are a plus
