About the JobWe currently have an opening for a Superintendent / Field Leader within our PM/CM group in New York City.We are seeking an experienced construction professional to oversee day-to-day site operations on a major NYC public realm / streetscape project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing field activities, coordinating subcontractors and utilities, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with agency requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Site CoordinationOrganize, schedule, and oversee daily and weekly activities of subcontractors, vendors, and utility entitiesCoordinate work in active urban environments, including NYC utility companies and agency stakeholdersProactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain schedule and productivityRecord-Keeping & SupervisionMaintain accurate daily reports, field logs, and site documentationTrack labor, timekeeping, and cost-related field activitiesSupervise self-performed work and implement efficient construction means and methodsMaterial & Submittal ManagementSupport submittal reviews and track long-lead materialsOversee material deliveries and ensure proper inspection, documentation, and storageVerify receiving tickets are signed, coded, and properly filedReporting & ComplianceSupport jobsite reporting requirements including daily reports, RFIs, change orders, weekly unit reports, two-week look-ahead schedules, and monthly schedule updatesReview shop drawings and submittals in coordination with project management teamsEnsure compliance with contract documents, agency standards, and company proceduresMeetings & Quality ControlAttend and participate in required jobsite and agency meetingsMaintain quality control and safety standards throughout all phases of constructionQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferredExperience7 years of relevant field experience on urban infrastructure, streetscape, or public works projectsExperience working on NYC DDC and/or EDC projects strongly preferredDemonstrated experience with NYC utility coordination and work in active public rights-of-wayFamiliarity with NYC agency processes, filings, and construction requirements=
Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
