Senior Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview

Our client – tech-savvy, forward-leaning Personal Injury practice - is seeking a highly organized, client-focused Personal Injury Paralegal to support a fast-paced, high-volume practice. This individual will play a critical role in case intake, client communication, and case progression from day one.

This is an in-office position requiring strong ownership, independence, and the ability to manage a substantial caseload with minimal micromanagement. Role requires true litigation (active lawsuit) and municipal (casework involving government entities) exposure

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for new clients, including meeting clients on their first day and guiding them through the intake process
• Assist attorneys with pre-litigation case development, investigation, and file preparation
• Handle insurance claims processing, including no-fault and bodily injury matters
• Request, review, and organize medical records and billing documentation
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding:
• Medical treatment updates
• Case status and next steps
• Prepare and file legal documents related to personal injury cases
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Manage and prioritize a high caseload efficiently and accurately
• Utilize case management systems to ensure data integrity and workflow consistency

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
• Pre-litigation workflows
• Insurance claims (no-fault experience a plus)
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable managing competing priorities with minimal oversight
