Position Overview
Our client – tech-savvy, forward-leaning Personal Injury practice - is seeking a highly organized, client-focused Personal Injury Paralegal to support a fast-paced, high-volume practice. This individual will play a critical role in case intake, client communication, and case progression from day one.
This is an in-office position requiring strong ownership, independence, and the ability to manage a substantial caseload with minimal micromanagement. Role requires true litigation (active lawsuit) and municipal (casework involving government entities) exposure
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new clients, including meeting clients on their first day and guiding them through the intake process
- Assist attorneys with pre-litigation case development, investigation, and file preparation
- Handle insurance claims processing, including no-fault and bodily injury matters
- Request, review, and organize medical records and billing documentation
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding:
- Medical treatment updates
- Case status and next steps
- Prepare and file legal documents related to personal injury cases
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Manage and prioritize a high caseload efficiently and accurately
- Utilize case management systems to ensure data integrity and workflow consistency
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal (plaintiff-side preferred)
- Strong understanding of:
- Pre-litigation workflows
- Insurance claims (no-fault experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable managing competing priorities with minimal oversight
