Job Title: Audit Senior

Location: Stockton, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office/week)

Overview:

A well-established full-service mid-size, 25 employee, CPA firm in Stockton, CA is seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing team. This is a hybrid opportunity offering exposure to a wide range of industries, a collaborative work environment, and a clear path for career advancement.

Industries Served:

Non-profit, affordable housing, local government, local districts, employee benefit plans, HOAs, real estate, healthcare, professional firms, and a horse track.

Responsibilities:

• Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements across multiple industries
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and disclosures
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/GAAS and internal control standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of public accounting audit experience
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP/GAAS
• Experience in one or more of the listed industries
• CPA license preferred (required at Manager level and above)
• Proficiency in Thomson Reuters software
