Practice Manager | Am Law Firm | Chicago


A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Practice Manager to partner with firm leadership on strategic, operational, and talent-related initiatives.

This is a highly visible role supporting attorney development, staffing, practice operations, and overall business performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with practice leadership on operational and strategic initiatives
  • Support attorney staffing, development, and performance processes
  • Monitor practice metrics, utilization, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, Finance, and other business services teams
  • Drive operational improvements and team effectiveness


Ideal Background

  • Practice Management, Attorney Development, Legal Talent, Professional Development, Legal Operations, or related law firm experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience supporting attorneys, practice groups, or business operations
