This individual will play a key role in shaping investment strategy, managing sophisticated client portfolios, and mentoring junior investment professionals. About the Role
This firm has a long-standing presence in the wealth management space, providing portfolio management, investment advisory, and family office services to high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments, and foundations. The organization prides itself on a client-first philosophy, strong investment discipline, and a collaborative culture. The team operates in a hybrid work environment, with in-office collaboration three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and remote flexibility on the remaining days.
Responsibilities
- Serve on the firm’s Investment Strategy Group, contributing to firmwide strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions
- Conduct due diligence on separate account managers and a wide range of investment vehicles
- Recommend and maintain the firm’s approved investment list for client portfolios
- Manage client assets, including:
- Developing investment policy statements
- Designing asset allocation strategies
- Implementing and monitoring portfolios
- Oversee portfolio trading and rebalancing activities
- Enhance operational processes and drive trading efficiencies
- Analyze portfolio performance and attribution, and recommend adjustments
- Participate in client and prospective client meetings, addressing portfolio-related topics and investment strategy
- Develop and deliver timely investment commentary for clients and internal teams
- Mentor and develop junior team members, including Associate Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Administrators
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related field
- CFA designation strongly preferred
- 5 years of experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services
- Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios, particularly for high-net-worth individuals or families
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex investment concepts to a range of audiences
- Experience with investment and portfolio tools such as Bloomberg, Morningstar, Tamarac, or similar systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM platforms
- Proven ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies

Pay range and compensation package
Base salary: Typically $160,000–$200,000, depending on experience
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
