About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing law firm, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or trial
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, demand packages, and legal correspondence
- Request, review, and organize medical records and bills
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Maintain accurate case files and track critical deadlines
- Support attorneys with settlement negotiations and case strategy
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines
- Experience with case management systems (e.g., Needles, Clio, Litify, etc.)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
