Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery documents for personal injury, med mal, and workers’ comp matters.
- Discovery Support: Assist with document review, production, and management of e-discovery platforms.
- Medical Records: Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records for case preparation.
- Drafting: Prepare and edit correspondence, pleadings, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
- Trial Preparation: Coordinate exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders; attend trials as needed.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, experts, and vendors to gather information and schedule meetings.
- Administrative Support: Manage calendars, deadlines, and filings with courts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
- Experience:Minimum 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, medical malpractice, or workers’ compensation.
- Familiarity with state and federal court procedures.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
