Litigation Associate

Our firm is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Litigation Associate and Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Associate to join our Chattanooga office. The ideal candidate will have experience handling civil litigation matters, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex issues.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials under supervision.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally.
• Manage case files and deadlines to ensure timely progress.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for admission).
• 2–4 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil or commercial litigation.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Tennessee state and federal court procedures.
• Experience with electronic discovery and case management software.
• Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
