Responsibilities
- Represent clients in a range of divorce and family law matters
- Handle matters involving divorce, custody, child support, modifications, paternity, and asset division
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, and other legal documents
- Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials
- Work directly with clients and provide practical, thoughtful guidance throughout their matters
- Assist with complex financial issues, including matters involving substantial assets, closely held businesses, real estate, and executive compensation
- Manage matters independently while collaborating with experienced attorneys on case strategy
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of family law experience
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing
Required Skills
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
Preferred Skills
- Litigation, courtroom, deposition, or mediation experience preferred
- Experience with complex financial or high-net-worth divorce matters is a plus
