Associate Attorney (Private Wealth/Trust & Estates/High Net Worth) - New York, NY - HYBRID
A growing, New York-based law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Private Wealth / Trust & Estates practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to take ownership of their work, develop client relationships, and grow within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support high-net-worth clients with estate planning and wealth transfer strategies
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments
- Assist with tax-oriented planning and complex wealth structuring
- Work closely with a partner on client strategy and execution
- Manage matters with increasing autonomy from start to finish
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- Experience in Trusts & Estates, Private Wealth, or related area
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client matters
- Interest in developing client relationships and contributing to practice growth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Active NY Bar (required)
- CT/NJ admission a strong plus
Additional Details:
- Billable requirement: 1,700-1,800 hours
- Schedule: Hybrid (in-office with work-from-home on Fridays)
