Position Overview
The General Manager (GM) is the face and leader of STIR Knoxville. This role oversees all aspects of the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring that financial goals, guest satisfaction, and team development are achieved at the highest standards. The GM drives culture, builds high-performing teams, and creates a memorable dining experience that aligns with STIR’s brand.
What we're looking for in a Restaurant Manager
- Minimum of 5 year of management experience in an upscale casual dining restaurant
- A degree in Hospitality Management, or similar, is preferred
- You are good with numbers
- You can coach and develop Team Members
- Strong passion for hospitality and service
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Working knowledge of local and national health codes
- Excellent communication
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
