What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Square 1 Burgers and Bar?
We are currently looking for outgoing, friendly team players to join our team of Hosts/Hostes. The Host is responsible for welcoming guests, checking identification when necessary and helping them make selections from the menu. The ideal candidate has prior catering and restaurant experience, is well-versed in food preparation, and has a thorough knowledge of local area restaurants.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests in a friendly manner and establishing rapport.
- Assist guests by seating them at tables, taking drink orders, and answering any questions they may have.
- Working cash register and processing credit cards.
- Serving food to guests as they request.
- Suggesting items on the menu.
- Communicating well with other employees.
