Nurse RN/LPN - Per Diem - Overnights

LPNs and RNs wanted for small homelike facility - care for same 12 patients everyday -- low key environment! Make a difference in lives of people with intellectual disabilities - 1:3 staff/resident ratio. Join us and practice holistic nursing with an experienced long-term and dedicated team!

We are seeking per diem nurses to overnights. Competitive differentials can bring your base rate up! Dress casual and work in a small home environment to support our 12 clients in having full and complete lives.

DUTIES:

• Serves as a resource for other direct service, dietary, and housekeeping staff.
• Meets the nursing care needs of each individual as outlined in the nursing care plan.
• Implements physician's orders, including administration of medication.
• Completes all paperwork as required by applicable regulations, laws, Spurwink policy, and procedure.
• Communicates nursing concerns and issues to the physician, DON, and other direct service staff.
• Knows and implements all individual active treatment programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Maine RN or LPN, in good standing. All applicants must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.
