What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOME BASED TREATMENT FOSTER PARENTS position at Spurwink Services?
Our Treatment Foster Care Program seeks prospective and current foster parents as well as respite providers to care for children with emotional, behavioral and/or developmental needs. If you are not a licensed foster parent, we may work with you to obtain your license. This is a CONTRACTED position, not an employed position. You will care for our clients in your home or apartment with the support of our treatment team. Treatment Foster Parents have 24-hour access to consultation and support, as well as access to ongoing training. We offer both a sign on and placement bonus!
DUTIES:
Care for our clients in your home or apartment with the support of our treatment team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Be able to meet state licensing requirements for foster care plus six months of direct experience with children who have emotional, behavioral or developmental needs. Experience may be through paid work or volunteering.
